Abstract:

50 vegetation series, geoseries and geopermaseries as well their faciations and geofaciations recognized in Malaga are described. The number of cartographic units represented in the “Map of vegetation series, geoseries and geopermaseries of Malaga, scale 1: 250.000" correspond to 44, of which 38 are climatophilous, temporihygrophilous, edaphoxerophilous and of coastal rocks, while 6 are edaphohygrophilous. Twelve biogeographic districts are represented in the Malaga territory, included in a region, two provinces and five biogeographical sectors.
